The UK Government has encouraged businesses to use Two Way Radios to overcome the problem of Social Distancing in the work place. As you already know, your Two Way Radio system already provides a cost effective way of instantly communicating with colleagues who are not in the same room, which means employees don’t have to meet face to face or use a telephone that may not be answered. This can easily be incorporated as one or more of your control measures in the Risk Assessment that your organisation will be required to produce to help their employees work safely during coronavirus (COVID-19). It’s a really simple way to make best use of a resource that your organisation has already invested in.
