Eemits Connects New Wind Farm to Cloud Based TRBOCALL Platform

Eemits Communications has strengthed its existing partnership with a global leader in renewable energy, by connecting another one of their UK wind farms to the award-winning TRBOCALL platform. Based in North Lanarkshire, the new onshore site will 'plug straight in' to an existing cloud-based infrastructure that gives instant, reliable voice and data commmunication to over 36 sites in the UK.

Clever, cloud-based infrastructure
Utilising Capacity Max Tier III infrastructure, we're able to 'plug' the new wind farm onto our TRBOCALL platform, via cloud-based infrastructure, that seamlessly connects it other sites across the country - without the need for new, expensive infrastructure that doesn't give the unified approach the provider currently has with Eemits.
Using Capacity Max and TRBOCALL means the wind farm will be instantly connected to an existing system - one that has no point of failure, and provides ultra-reliable and smart voice and data capabilities at sites all over the UK. Once the new site is operational, it will connect to TRBOCALL, and both Eemits and the energy provider will be able to monitor the system remotely.
The energy provider will also be able to connect site worker staff together with a range of communication features and possibilities. This includes access for control staff to monitor the system and use it for safety, productivity, and efficiency purposes.
Site security is also protected, as all voice, data, and control traffic is encrypted, and radios are securely authenticated.
The new R7 will be utilised
The new Motorola R7 Premium (Full Keypad) was the device of choice as it has the latest technology and connects seamlessly with a Capacity Max radio system. The device comes with modern features, including GPS location tracking, Lone Worker, Man Down, and advanced noise cancellation AI.
Software updates are also completed over-the-air, so there's no unplanned downtime required to keep the radios working at an optimum level.
Comprehensive service
As part of a 60-month managed service, the energy provider benefits from:
- Access to the latest technology - as they hire the radios over a long-term period, their fleet can be futureproofed by ensuring they always have the latest devices (at the point of contract renewal).
- Enhanced warranty with accidental repairs - working in a rugged environment, it's importnat that any damaged radios can be replaced straight away.
- Annual preventive maintenace check - an engineer goes to site once a year to make sure that everything is okay in respect to equipment and coverage.
- Business hours reactive maintenance - as TRBOCALL is cloud-based, we're able to carry out reactive maintenance tasks without having to visit the site.
